I’m the Author of the book ‘Become a Better You’, and founder of Tailored Lifestyles.

These are just a few of the lies and myths that keep people stuck, as they drift further off course from actually getting results.

And while I could tout all the books I’ve sold, the amount of visits I get to my website, the radio interviews across the UK, America and Canada, or 1000s of pounds I’ve helped people lose…that’s not why you should listen to me.

You should listen to me because I’ve made every mistake in the book, and I know what works and what doesn’t.

I’ve seen it in myself, with clients and the thousands of other women I’ve helped.

You see, I was that overweight person who was too depressed to leave the house, who had no self-confidence, believed I couldn’t lose weight or be healthy and that the life I wanted just wasn’t achievable for me.

Case in point…here’s me a few years ago in 2014…

I was 50 pounds heavier, and worst of all, I looked older, worn down, exhausted and down on life.

As you can no doubt see, I really wasn’t in a good place.

And I was making some of the worst and most common mistakes out there:

  • I had no clue how to eat healthy or put together a balanced diet
  • I believed it was a simple case of just eating less and moving more
  • I paid no attention to my mindset, so even when I started eating better and going to the gym I was still depressed
  • I spent months at a time depriving myself of my favourite foods, only to eventually snap, binge, and put all the weight back on
  • I paid no attention to my lifestyle on the whole, my habits, behaviours, outlook on life, and just aimlessly went through the motions, hoping for the best
  • I kept listening to the voice in the back of my head, convincing myself I wasn’t good enough and only half-heartedly trying so that the inevitable failure wouldn’t hurt so much

I made so many mistakes with dieting, exercise and supplements, that I convinced myself what I wanted just wasn’t obtainable for me.

But it turns out I was wrong.

And once I started doing things correctly, EVERYTHING changed, and I was finally able to reconstruct myself into the person I always wanted to be.

And I know that with the right guidance and support, that you can too.

So here’s the bottom line…

I know exactly what it feels like to be stuck in a rut, desperately wanting something more, but after failing time and time again, being on the edge of giving up.

Fortunately, I managed to get through, spending years committed to learning everything I could about health, nutrition, losing weight, changing behaviours and fitness.

Finding out exactly what we need to actually get lasting changes.

And in that lies my problem.

All these fad diets and miracle cures don’t work, all these weight loss groups rarely get lasting results, and most personal trainers, coaches and nutritionists have no clue what they are doing, and the reason why this is such a problem, is because these tend to be the approaches that people turn to.

Now this might sound cynical, but the majority of these services come down to economic incentives, and it remains in their best interest for you to stumble, take your time, and never reach your end goal.

Now my point here isn’t that I’m so righteous and clever and everyone else is useless or trying to take advantage of you.

My point is that I like to do things differently, to break the mould, and my entire ethos has been built around my mission to change the way this country uses and thinks about food, and show others that a healthy lifestyle is achievable for all.

Unfortunately, in that lies a problem, because while I’d love to help every single person that reaches out to me, there’s only one of me, and I’ve worked insanely hard to become known as the guy who gets results, and that’s why I can only take on a certain number of clients at once.

But here’s what I want if you were to work with me, I want you to be able to fire me after 12 weeks.

And I’m completely serious on that one.

Not because I failed or disappointed you, but because I’ve done my job so well, that you can take what you’ve learnt, the progress you’ve made and continue on your own journey for the rest of your life.

Now that may sound like a bad business model, but I disagree.

This is all about helping as many people as possible make lasting changes, and this is about more than just you getting the body of your dreams. It’s about teaching you to continue and eventually maintain it, because here’s the truth…

If a plan, diet, group or coach gets you a result but you don’t keep it long-term, then it didn’t work.

By combining one-to-one mindset, behaviour, nutrition and fitness coaching into one programme, I’m able to do it for less than a quarter of what you’d pay separately. 

Because on their own, personal training, nutritionist and behaviour change coaching gets really expensive, very, very, quickly.

And let’s be conservative with these numbers.

For most people when seeking help or wanting to change, their first response tends to be to go to a personal trainer, and to do this properly you’d need a trainer at least 3 times a week.

In the UK trainers average £30 an hour, but in major cities this can be more in line with £100-£250 an hour, with the higher end if you want someone decent.

But let’s keep it at £30.

So that’s £90 a week, which over 12 weeks, is £1080.

But what about diet? Most personal trainers aren’t qualified to give nutritional advice as it’s out of their scope of practice, and there’s no point in having one without the other.

To see a nutritionist would usually be an initial fee of £100-200, and then around £100 per session.

Over the course of 12 weeks, that amounts to an additional £1100.

And even with that you still wouldn’t solve the problem of overcoming the beliefs that are holding you back, getting a new found confidence, moving past the voice in the back of your head telling you that you aren’t good enough, and reconstructing yourself into the person you want to be.

This may not be a form of coaching you have encountered before, but without changing your mindset, nothing else you do matters, and this is the piece that people tend to be missing, and why they stay stuck.

So, you’d need a behaviour change coach as well, who would be at least £150 an hour

Over 12 weeks that’s an additional £1800.

And then there’s the added problem…

After spending all that money and time, (in this case around £3980) there’s a VERY good chance you’ll end up like the rest of their clients: completely disappointed in your results and with NO clue what to do next, as they focus so much on the plan, without passing on any knowledge or tools to help you once you finish with their services.

I know how frustrating this can be, having spent more money than I want to think about, then looking back and being no closer to achieving my goals, fed up and clueless with what to do next.

And if you have been through that yourself, then it’s my guess that you are not wanting to do it again.

You want actual tangible results, that you can see in the mirror, feel emotionally and you want to know the ‘how’s’ and ‘why’s’ so that you don’t have to be reliant on someone else to maintain any progress you make.

There’s no arguing that this would have IMMENSE value, as there’s no way around it, for most people it would be life changing and it’s hard to put a price tag on ending years of suffering, and finally taking hold of the life and body of your dreams.
