Without all 4 of these pillars, no matter how hard you try, in the long-run it just doesn’t work, and that’s why people go round and round in circles, never making lasting changes.
And I should know.
I used to buy into the whole idea that a healthy lifestyle just wasn’t possible for me, that it was all about eating bland boring foods or spending everyday in the gym.
And I couldn’t think of anything worse.
At the time I was close to 50 pounds heavier and had huge issues with everything from self-confidence to my relationships with food, doing no exercise and simply dealing with the ups and downs of everyday life.
And this caused me to fall into a rut from which I started to believe there was no way out, causing me to feel trapped, overwhelmed and depressed.
My dad’s cancer was the wakeup call that I needed to do something about my own health, and I’m living proof that you don’t have to just accept the way things are, that you can change, and that anything truly is possible.
Since then I’ve been on a mission to help as many people as possible take control of their health, and in that mission I set out to do something different, that actually works and gets you permanent results.
That’s why I created the 12/80 Body for Life Programme.
